STAUFEN DIGITAL NEONEX HELPS HYPERCAR MANUFACTURER RIMAC TAKE PRO-DUCTION, LOGISTICS AND IT LANDSCAPE TO A NEW LEVEL

Staufen Digital Neonex, a management consultancy specialized in the implementation of Smart Factories and innovative supply chain solutions, announced its collaboration with the Croatian automotive company Rimac Group today. In a strategic partnership, the Stuttgart-based consultancy is supporting the manufacturer of electric hypercars and electronic vehicle components in the planning and commissioning of its future production environment.

Staufen Digital Neonex has already been working together with Rimac in the last few months to drive the industrialization and standardization of production and logistics at Rimac’s site in Croatia. These efforts are mainly rooted in the start of production of the Nevera hypercar and the significant expansion of Rimac’s supplier business with battery systems, powertrains and other EV components. The German consultancy’s tasks include the introduction of a new ERP system, the definition of intralogistics and the creation of a production planning concept for series production.

Highly innovative techniques are used in process planning for the Croatian frontrunner that entered a joint venture with Porsche to form a new company with hypercar manufacturer Bugatti. For example, software developed specifically by the consultancy enables efficient, data-driven value stream design. In production, which will soon move to the recently un-veiled Rimac campus, concepts such as Industrial Internet of Things platforms will play a central role.
